Hexis Open Day Brings Out The Best

Judging by all the wildly wrapped vehicles in the car park and on the street, it was clear that leading applicators and signage specialists had joined the team at Hexis for their first official Open House.

On hand to greet guests were Hexis CEO, Clement Mateu visiting from the company’s international headquarters in Frontingnan, France, Ian Parsonson, Hexis Australia Managing Director and, his team of technical experts.

Guests were shown the latest Hexis products spanning a number of categories including vinyl wraps, digital printing media, films for textiles, plotter vinyls, signage accessories and much more.

Hexis is well known for their vehicle wrapping vinyl range. It was a point of pride at the open house with particular focus on the Hexis SKINTAC HX 3000 range, a Cast PVC film designed for vehicle customisation as well as other suitable items. The SKINTAC is a multilayered cast vinyl film and a release liner with structured HEX’Press adhesive for easier application. Varieties include gloss, matt, super matt or a structured surface finish. The various chrome finishes look amazing, a point highlighted by a number of the vehicles in the car park that had been wrapped using this product.

Hexis also supplies a range of textile decoration films, some examples you could also see in use on a few of the T-shirts worn by guests who use the product. One example is the TEXIS CUTFLEX HFLEX100P. The film is a solvent free textile decoration material designed to flex for cotton, polyester and lycra materials. Because of the results that can be achieved, TEXIS CUTFLEX can be classed as the ultimate textile flex decoration. This 100µm polyurethane flex series features a matt, reflection free surface with excellent unrivalled weeding & stretchability. The option of warm or cold peeling once pressed really makes this series stand above the competition. Other options include Hexis media designed for use with work wear and other more heavy-duty materials.

Ian took a number of guests on a tour to see the variety of products the company supplies, with many surprised to discover that Hexis produce a range of HEX’Perience decorative films for domestic and corporate interior spaces. The range has wood grain textures, wallpapers and window decoration films, as well as specialised mineral textures for the latest in architectural style.  Ian showed guests how the HEX’Perience range could open up new revenue streams for businesses looking to expand their product and service capabilities.

Hexis CEO, Clément Mateu, came over all the way from France especially for the event. Clement noted how well Hexis had done in the two years since officially launching in Australia, crediting their clients innovation and Ian and the team for their work and technical expertise.

Ian noted that their on-staff technical experts and customer focus had helped the company to establish strong relationships with print and sign professionals. And that the Hexis range of products and accessories provided a comprehensive suite of solutions, backed by exceptional service and advice. "Our objective is to listen first, and then discuss the projects at hand before advising on product options.”

The ‘Open House’ not only provided Hexis and their clients with an opportunity to celebrate the fact the company has done well. It showed the industry that they are far more than just a manufacturer of high-performance adhesive vinyls for vehicle graphics applications, and that their significant product range caters to a broad range of industry needs.
