We deliver retail design, a customised platform for retail marketers, the latest in retail engagement technologies and a wide range of production services. Dashing are looking for an experience Industrial Designer that has worked on the development of retail point of sale displays, pop-ups and in-store production.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer and Creative Director, the Industrial Designer would be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Research of the best solution for the clients’ objectives
  • Sketching and renders of concepts
  • Examining materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements
  • Sourcing and Liaising with suppliers
  • Working with other members of the design team when required
  • Evaluating product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical
  • Prototype management
  • Presenting designs and demonstrating prototypes to clients for approval (this is optional)

ABOUT YOU

·       At least 3-4 years of Industrial Design experience, ideally with retail projects

·       Understanding of retail environments would be an advantage

·       Proactive and self-motivated

·       Willing to go above and beyond to deliver the best possible customer experience

·       Capable of planning and problem solving
